Placing the First Anchor
Where We Are Now
Anchor has made it through two development sprints, each one shaping the foundation of how families will preserve their memories. We’re now entering the third sprint, which introduces something special: a curated first anchor placement experience.
Why This Matters
This milestone isn’t just technical — it’s emotional. It’s the moment where Anchor shifts from concept to lived experience. Families will be able to connect a memory to a place, and feel the resonance of returning to it later. That’s the heart of Anchor: memory tied to location, preserved for generations.
The Journey So Far
- Sprint One: Core framework and map view established.
- Sprint Two: Multimedia anchors tested and refined.
- Sprint Three: Handheld placement of the first anchor — the beginning of true interaction.
Looking Ahead
As we continue, each sprint brings us closer to the vision: a polished, intuitive app where families can preserve stories, share them across generations, and build a legacy that lasts. Anchor is still young, but it’s growing into something that feels different, something wanted.
Anchor is beginning to remember — and soon, families will place their first anchors in the world.
